Richardton

Richardton, North Dakota is a town with a population of about 600. The city of Richardton is located in Stark County in Southwest North Dakota. It has a hospital, clinic, golf course, restaurants, local motel as well as bed and breakfasts, senior’s centers and much more. Richardton is a great retirement community.

This is a thriving community that is home to many area businesses and recreational opportunities. The community is served by area businesses providing services for travelers and residents. There are two Benedictine monastic communities: Assumption Abbey and the Scared Heart Monastery. They give sanctuary to many learning and spiritual retreats. It once served as a bustling hub for education.

Richardton is home to a natural spring, providing habitats for a wide variety of animals and plant species.
