5th Annual Old Red Trail Rummage Sale

Saturday, June 4th is the fifth annual Old Red Trail Rummage Sale from Mandan to Dickinson.  Starting at 8 am local time, and continuing through 5 pm local time, communities are lining up events, food, and entertainment to go along with the 108 miles of Old Red Trail Rummage Sales.

Look for the red balloons in the communities and try out lunch at several of the communities.  New Salem Historical Society and Museum will be selling great antique items at the museum.

The roadside scenery between Almont and Glen Ullin is a great drive as you travel into Hebron for the rummage sales.  Before you leave, stop at Dacotah Clayworks, where there will be over 200 coleus plants of different varieties for sale.

Richardton has not only the local rummage sales, but also great items at the Abbey and the Monastery for sale.  A sidewalk sale at the Taylor Nursery on Main Street, Taylor, will keep you wandering through the new plants and gifts, and Gladstone is a must stop before Dickinson.  Dickinson has not only rummage sales going on throughout town, but also new unique shops that can add to your trunk of treasures.

The Talking Trails signs along the highway are places you don’t want to miss.  Just stop at the sign, dial the number and extension and listen to the history of the site.  You’ll learn about the local history along the Old Red Old Ten Scenic Byway.

Jump in your vehicle and take to the road, there’s lots to pick up along the Old Red Old Ten Scenic Byway, just parallel to interstate 94.

Go to Facebook - Old Red Rummage Sale 2016 for information, or to register your rummage sale by May 27th.
